And the winner of the Jews-killing-Christmas award: The BBC

Ynet reports that the BBC did, indeed, say that Israeli policies in Bethlehem would make the baby Jesus cry:

Had Jesus’ parents Joseph and Mary tried to travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem nowadays, they would find it to be a near impossible task due to the IDF roadblocks and the West Bank security fence, a BBC reporter claimed in a televised broadcast this week.

The news story, by BBC correspondent in Israel Matthew Price, has brought the already shaky relations between the U.K. television channel and Israel to a new low, Israel’s leading newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported Sunday.

In the report, Price reenacted Joseph and Mary’s historical route from Nazareth to Bethlehem, by accompanying an Israeli-Arab Nazareth carpenter, who will be forced to skip his annual visit to Bethlehem on Christmas this year, due to the army’s traffic restrictions and the exhausting effort entailed in crossing the IDF roadblocks.

Unfortunately, I do not have a link to any kind of transcript, but I should like to point something out to Mr. Price:

Joseph and Mary were Jewish. Jewish. Let me repeat that, one more time, and slowly: Jew. Ish.

They would not be stopped at the checkpoints, because they’d be citizens of Israel. Jewish ones. The ones that don’t carry out suicide bombings or stabbings or shooting attacks on IDF soldiers.

So, well, they would not only get through the checkpoint, but they’d probably keep on going, what with Bethlehem being a palestinian town now.

Someone needs to send those morons at the BBC, well, a Bible. You know, the one that tells the world that Jesus was a Jew.

Schmucks.

  1. Sabba Hillel says:

Had Joseph and Mary tried to travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem, under current conditions, they would have been murdered by the local terrorists and the BBC wouldn’t have Xmas to celebrate. Of course, based on the way they are behaving, they would probably think it was a good thing.

  2. Left wing Dingbat says:

OK, OK, we’ll rewrite it. If Mary and Joseph were Palestinians wearing explosive vests, they’d be stopped 15 times on their way to Bethlehem and probably wouldn’t get a chance to blow up the crowded inn where they would have had Jesus.

Which they wouldn’t have had, since he’d be dead.

Half a minnute, lemme work on it some more.
