Fascinating analysis on Iran and Israel in the Asia Times. Not that I’m agreeing with it, but it’s a fascinating read. So is this one, which holds a decidedly anti-Israel view. Then there’s this scary analysis, which likens Ahmedinejad to Hitler–and not in a Godwin’s Law way, but in a very creepy way–and says that Islam may come out the victor after all.

Winds of Change points out a Reuters article that proves palestinian terrorists hide behind children when firing on Israeli soldiers.

While on Winds of Change, stop and read some of their analysis of international situations.

Michael Totten writes an article on Hezbollah that is best written from America, not while in Lebanon.

The Elders are taking on David Duke’s speech in Syria over at Simply Jews, in the way that only they can. It’s certainly a step up from the last speech of his we noticed, which happened to be his last speech before serving time in prison for tax evasion and fraud.

From now on, let us refer to this blivit as “Convicted Felon David Duke,” if you don’t mind.

And if you want to be really depressed, just read Solomonia. Geez, Sol, I try to break up my posts with some stuff that does not detail the end of Jews and Western Civilization; can’t you lighten things up a bit once in a while? What happened to your turtle pictures?

Time to visit Lair Simon and look at the cats.

Hey! I posted about the new season of Project Runway — one of the best shows on TV!

Would you believe the turtle pictures post continues to pull in comments every turtle mating season? Also, would you know that I’m getting an amazing number of hits from a hat tip on this page: Cute Overload? I’m thinking not a lot of those hits come back, though.

Seems to be a mouthful. How about “Defunct Duck”?

  3. Or we could just call him “asshole.”

I’m a long-time reader of the Catholic columnist who writes under the nom de plume of Spengler. Thanks for the pointers to provocative pieces by other writers at Asia Times Online.
