Not too long ago (Nov 19, 1996) an article on Washington radio stations reported (The Same Old Songs, Washington Post)You’re punching up your presets and “Cherish,” the gloppy 1966 hit by the Association, pops up on one, two, three stations….

Actually, I was easily able to identify 4 of the 7. They were good songs. “In the name of Love”? After a greta deal of thought, I remember a song called “Stop, in the name of love”. Is that the same song? I thought it was done by a female group.
